The club has been back open for approaching a month now and its great to see people after so long without our home being available to us. A lot of work remains ongoing in the back ground to get the club back on its feet and also ensure its future stability. Last week we hosted our first set of local league fixtures and its great to welcome back our friends from across Dudley Table Tennis League for some competition table tennis. The club has welcomed many new members to our club since reopening but the impact of our extended closure has clearly had an impact on attendance and teams. Positively, the attendance at our sessions appears to be growing so please continue to promote the club wherever possible (word of month, social media, etc).
As we start to settle back into the club, its important the clubs schedule moulds around our membership needs. We will therefore be reviewing attendance at sessions whilst welcoming feedback from our members on how to increase attendance to ensure the club remains sustainable. As a result, the Thursday evening coaching sessions will be adjusted based on recent feedback to promote a more progressive coaching model at the club. The 7:30pm session will become a 'beginners to intermediate' session with the 8:30pm session being more steered towards advanced players.

We have added some further guidance to the clubs membership page to clarify playing requirements for all players at the club. I would therefore like to request all playing members check they have an active Table Tennis England membership atleast 'Club Play' level. This is a minimum level requirement for anyone who plays table tennis at the club and is absolutely free of charge. Further information on this topic can be found on the members page:
